ALU's interal issue

Mark, I noticed that I got "Line 74, preout2[0]: sub bus of an internal node may not be used". How do I email my HDL file to you? I don't want to post my HDL file on this forum as a "spoiler". Thank you very much in advance. Wm

You are trying to hook an 8 wire bus to a single wire pin.  Have you got an Or there instead of an Or8Way?

If the error doesn't appear to be on line 74, look one line before and after it.  Sometimes error message line numbers are off by 1.

Feel free to email your ALU to me, but it may be tomorrow morning before I get a change to look at it.

Should I use an And16 instead of an And? ALU.HDL file is sent to Mark. Also, it looks like I will have to enroll into a coursea.org. What do I do with my virtual implemented chips in the few days ago? Thank you very much in advance. Wm
