From Nand to Tetris. MOOC course

Albert
Hi all, this is not a technical question.

Nowadays it's awesome to see sites like:

where lots of online free courses are offered for free. My suggestion would be that the course "From Nand to Tetris. Building a Modern Computer from First Principles" being offered in one of those sites (maybe fits best on coursera). For sure, it's impossible to offer the full course in only one course of 6-10 weeks, but maybe in the format of two or three courses.

What do you think about it?

Regards, Albert

Nand2Tetris is now on Coursera!
https://www.coursera.org/course/nand2tetris1

There is a course in session now, but I hope that like most Coursera courses the content will be available after the course has finished.

Looking forward to a Part 2 course (I'm now building the VM in Chapter 7).

Yeees! Waiting so long for this course. I owned the book and made the two first chapters, but I lost the motivation not by the quality but by working too many hours in programming in my work. Now I have no excuses to follow the course. Anyone know if it is self-paced?

The Coursera course was run with a weekly schedule, which is now complete. The professors plan to keep the course available for self-paced study.

Support will likely be better on this forum than the Coursera course forum due to lower student activity now that the course is complete.
