Hardware Simulator GUI issues - OS X

Is there are way to get Hardware simulator GUI to work correctly on OS X.
Horizontal scroll bar does not work in HDL.
When main window is resized the HDL and other sub windows do not resize.

Running on:
OS X 10.4.4

java version "1.8.0_40"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_40-b25)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.40-b25, mixed mode)

I don't think that there is anything that you can do about that.

Control resizing and Horizontal Scrolling do not work on Windows, either.
