Hello everyone. I am teaching this class at a gifted high school in Chicago, Illinois called Northside College Preparatory High School. I'm a career changer that went from Software Engineering into teaching CS. I've been teaching Java and Logic / Hardware for 8 years. I'm one of the founders of the Chicago chapter of the Computer Science Teachers Association under the ACM and currently serve as Secretary. So far I am loving this curriculum and my course is going quite well so far (first year teaching using ECS). Up until now, I've used the Mano and Kime book entitled Logic and Computer Design Fundamentals.
