Are chapters 8, 9 and 11 deliberately not available from the website? I'm just checking that I'm not missing something obvious. Thanks.

Ok, thanks. I'll buy a copy then. It's a shame I wasn't aware of this book sooner... I've wondered for years how computers work and the approach it takes is exactly what I was after.
