It's great to see a forum by the authors for the book; I'll be a regular until and after I complete TECS. I'm a self learner and just got to the project section of chapter 1 and I'm having a great time.

Dear Pizza Pie: I am glad that you are enjoying the book and the projects. Although we've set up this forum, we (Noam and Shimon) cannot take any credit for it. The people who carry the brunt of this forum are people like you -- other readers of the book. In particular, all of us (writers and readers alike) are most grateful to Yong Bakos, Warren Toomey, Culchie, and others, who provide excellent answers, tips and workarounds on numerous topics related to the book and the projects.
