Unbearably Slow

Hi,

I am trying to test my VM programs in the VMEmulator, but it is unbearably slow. I've been watching the "Seven" program run for about 5 minutes and have seen nothing thus far, and this is the shortest of the programs. Is there anything I can do to speed up the execution? (I have got the slider set to "Fast").
