is there some way to run the test scripts through the VMemulator not using the graphical interface?

I was wondering if there is some way to run the test scripts through the VMemulator not using the graphical interface?

For example, something like:

./VMEmulator.sh ../projects/07/StackArithmetic/SimpleAdd/SimpleAdd.tst

which would then generate the output file and perhaps return a code indicating if the test had passed?
