Unable to load gate in hardware simulator (long error list)

Using version 2.5 of TeCS software,I'm attempting to load a chip into the hardware simulator but it gets stuck on "loading chip".
I have java 1.6.0_18(per java -version). I've read the readme in the folder and done as advised but it continues to stall on loading chip...
Neither the chip I've made nor the built in chips I've tried to load work. Is there some special thing i have to do for installation or should i just be running these straight from the folder I've extracted it to?

Thanks for any help, I'd really like to go through this book but I'm just really frustrated right now.

Hi
that seems very odd. Whenever I got an error message, for instance from an incorrectly designed chip,
it would be just a one-liner in red at the bottom of the window. I have never seen anything like you've
had. I just tried out loading a built-in chip without any problems. I'm using windows xp on a netbook, I have
the same version of tecs suite as you. I think my Java runtime installation is the same version as yours just a different build number. Just in case it might be of some help, I have uploaded a small video below that shows my java info and also me running the hardware simulator and loading a chip.

Ok, I shut my computer down and restarted it, It will run built in chips, but it just sits there trying to load the chip I made (which probably isn't correct) and spits out that long list of errors to the console.
And it won't run a test script on a built in chip.
Any thoughts as to what's going on?

The very kind Mr. GCheong already asked me via e-mail if i could email him what i've got and see if he could load it for me. He checked out the horrible excuse for hdl code that i wrote and said that it was confusing the program. So I'll have to work on the hdl code. That being said, does anyone know of a place where i can find a good tutorial on hdl for the book, the one in there, for whatever reason didn't make any sense to me. I'll read it again though.
