What is the recommended literature I should read in if I want to build the TECS computer in a physical platform?

For some time, I've been quite interested in making the TECS computer using real transistors, to make something "real" out of it. But for such, I assume I'd need a lot of material also in electrical engineering. Is there some recommended literature?
