i get this message (chip is not found in the working or built in folders) whenever i want to load a chip from the project 01 folder. but it works when i load one from the builtinchips folder from the program.
what s wrong here????
This is probably a working directory problem. The easiest way to get this to work under Windows is:
1) Create a folder on you desktop named TECS on your desktop and open it.
2) Use Explorer to find the TECS
tools directory.
3) Right-click-and-drag the
HardwareSimulator.bat file to your desktop and choose "create shortcut".
4) Do the same for
Assembler.bat,
CPUEmulator.bat and
VMEmulator.batYou can also look for more info on the forum in Errata, Bugs, and Such ›
