Nothing opens

I'm using a macbook pro with Windows 7 on it.  I downloaded it to my downloads folder and got Java but it doesn't work.  I double click, click open when it says the publisher could not be verified, but nothing happens.  This occurs with all the software, not just the Hardware Simulator.  I already tried re-downloading and unzipping.
