You're on the right track.

Circuits that have multiple outputs are really a collection of circuits with single outputs. For the DMux you need to build an 'a' function and a 'b' function.

    in sel | a b
    -------+----
     0  0  | 0 0
     0  1  | 0 0
     1  0  | 1 0
     1  1  | 0 1

Is treated as separate functions:

    in sel | a        in sel | b
    -------+--        -------+--
     0  0  | 0         0  0  | 0
     0  1  | 0         0  1  | 0
     1  0  | 1         1  0  | 0
     1  1  | 0         1  1  | 1
